Kinley had her 6 month check up this week. The nurses were very concerned that she was too skinny (I'm NOT kidding), they drilled Momma to see if Kinley was eating enough and then gave Momma guidelines to make sure she had 24 oz of milk or formula per day. This month Kinley weighed 17 lbs 7 oz (75%) and was 27 3/4 inches long (96%). The main concern was the fact that she grew so much longer, but had not gained much weight since the last appointment. When the doctor came in, he said there was nothing to worry about. Kinley put on a huge show when he came in the room, moving up and down the table, grabbing things, sitting up then laying down and rolling over. I asked him about what the nurses said and he said, "With how she moves, it is no wonder she hasn't gained weight." He also said because she was still in the 75% we had nothing to worry about. We just had to be proud that someone (2 nurses) finally called our little girl skinny! :) Kinley told Daddy he can no longer call her "big girl"!
