Kinley and Jax got really used to Daddy being home during the summer. Now that he is back to work it comes out that they are sad during the day when they realize he is not home. Some mornings this week Kinley would ask me if he was at work and when I said yes, she would go and gentley explain to Jax that he didn't need to be sad today because after naptime Daddy would be home and then we will get to play with him. She is such a big girl and it shows me that she was the one who was "sad" and by explaining to Jax she was telling herself not to be sad - too sweet.
A great reason to be missing Daddy... Momma is not nearly this patient to lay in bed and read books with two kids and a dog crawling all over her and probably doesn't read near as many books either!

Let's Have a Tea Party, Won't It Be FUN???
A fun evening tea party with baby dolls, teddy bears and a little brother acting on his best behavior so he would continue to be allowed to play. Kinley only reminded him 20 some times how careful he had to be so he didn't break her tea party dishes.

Bouncin Bears!!!
This week our friend Ms. Jennifer organized a playdate at Bouncin Bears and we all had a blast!!! A huge thanks to here for finding out about it and organizing the group fun, it is really close to our house, but Momma hadn't even noticed that is was open or what it was so we might not have gone for along time. It costs $5 for a day pass for each kid and then the parents are free. Because it is only about a 2 minute drive from our house we decided to buy the card with 10 punches and today's jump free (12 jumps for the price of 9) and because Daddy works for Klein we got another 15% off so this makes a CHEAP playdate for us and the kids LOVED it! Kinley wants to take Daddy back tonight to show him what she can do! Momma forgot her camera but Ms. Jenn let us borrow her's (thanks again) so we could get a few pics from today! I don't have pics of everyone but this was one of our biggest playdates ever! I'll probably leave someone out, but here is a list of all our friends who jumped - Kinley, Jax, Jake, Clint, Hayes, Jack, Lily, Luke, Anna, Sam, Ava, Audrey, Nico, Yuri, Ben, Emily and Harry. We are so blessed to have sooooo many great friends!

Noah's Ark
Another Kinley Funny! Sorry for all the details, but I want to remember the whole conversation, not just the funny!
This morning Kinley came running in with all the finger puppet animals and started telling me the Noah's Ark story. "God told Noah to put all the animals in the ark and then a BUNCH of rain came...." I was very proud of her and thankful to her wonderful Bible class teachers and Ms. Kay who she said read her the Noah story last night. She continued to tell the story, then I asked her how many animals of each type went into the ark, she didn't say so I said, "Two of each kind, two cows, two Lions, two dogs..." She then started listed them herself by the puppets she had on her fingers - "Two zebras, two horses, two GRANOLA BARS, two alligators..." I looked over the counter, wondering what in the world she was talking about granola bars in the middle of listing the puppet animals. I said, "where is the granola bar?" (I think I expected her to see a granola bar sitting out on the counter or something that had distracted her.) With no hesitation she grabbed the KOALA BEAR puppet and held it in the air. - I love my funny little girl!

The Nike J!
This morning Kinley has been going around the house collecting tennis shoes of the entire family from the closets, baskets, etc... I asked her what she was doing and she brought me the pile said, "Momma, I was jut getting all the shoes with the J on them!" Apparently it should be called the Nike J, not the Nike Swoosh!

1st Haircut!!!
Today when Jaxon went to get his 1st haircut Kinley wanted her's "cut like Daddy's too"! We didn't let her get it "cut like Daddy's" but we did let her get it cut for the 1st time. She loves her little bob hair cut and Momma and Daddy do too!
Just to throw in a "Kinley Funny"... when she was climbing out of the chair and noticed the floor she exclaimed, "WOW Mommy, all my hair fell off!"
