Tell It Like It Is!!!

Kinley is not one to beat around the bush, just wanted to post two stories from this week.

At dinner:

Daddy: I love lettuce, it is one of my favorite things to eat (encouraging Kinley to like to eat it too)!

Kinley: (Examining her lettuce) Ummmmm, Kinley just like bread!


While Momma was putting make up and put a little on Kinley:

Kinley: Kinley look like a pretty, pretty princess!

Momma: Yes, you do, when Momma get her makeup on she is going to be a pretty, pretty princess too.

Kinley: No, Momma a WITCH!!!

Well, there ya have it, Kinley would much rather have bread than lettuce and no matter how much makeup Momma wears she will still look like a witch!

Week with Friends!

Momma hasn't been doing a great job posting about playdates with our friends lately. These were 3 days of fun Kinley had with her friends this week.

On Thursday the REAL Baby Emily came to play, most of you know Kinley named her favorite doll Baby Emily - on Thurs K was in heaven with both Baby Emily's in the house!

Decorating for Christmas!

This is the 1st time Kinley has ever been into decorating for Christmas. It was so much fun for Momma to have a little helper (even if there had to be a decision that no one would be upset if anything got broken). Kinley unloaded EVERYTHING from the boxes and set it on the table one by one so Momma could set it around the house and then chose to set some stuff out on her own. She also loved putting ornaments on the tree. She was so proud of everything and so excited about all she had done when she went to bed. The best part was the next morning when she got out of bed and walked into the room where the tree was - "AHHHHHH Mommy, like it, like it, AHHHHH AHHHHH!" She was sooooo happy to see the tree, like she had never even seen it the night before! The little things - I love it!

Talking to Santa!

It took awhile for Kinley to warm up to Santa but when she did she sat on his lap and told him what she wanted for Christmas. She said, "Kinley want a princess necklace, a Ms. Potato head, and widdle, widdle, tiny babies." Guess we'll see if she is good and what Santa can do! :) Not that Momma and Daddy planted any ideas about what Santa might have already made in his toy shop or anything!

Thanksgiving Fun!

Kinley has tons to be thankful for and this year truly enjoyed her Thanksgiving holiday! She got to spend time in both Tyler and Kansas visiting all of her many relatives. The visits included helping stuff the turkey with Gma Kerry, setting the table at GGmas, going to the Zoo, going to Chuck E Cheese, playing at the playplace at McD's, hanging out with her cousins that she loves so much and more!
