From the previous posts, most of you know Kinley and Momma made a trip to Wichita earlier this week. We were able to get a reasonable flight deal and decided to make the quick trip to see the newest cousin and all the rest of the family. Below are a few pictures to show you what a great time we had!

Good Looks Run In the Family!!!
As if we didn't have enough photo sessions scheduled for the weekend... on Tuesday we created our own photo fun with the cousins. All the babies wore the same onesie and we took our own pics for Aunt Jennifer to make into the collage.

Cousins!!!
Today we decided we were very brave and took GGma, Gma Oakley, Momma, Aunt Jennifer, Aunt Krista, Aunt Kayla, Kinley, Brennan, Kate, and Rachel out to get some professional photos taken. The day was a great success, we only have digital shots from one of the studios, and we thought the other pics we ordered from another place were even better, so it was forsure with our time and effort! By the end of the day, all babies were hungry and soooo sleepy, but we had a great time and Gma just knows she has the cutest grandbabies ever!
OUR FAVORITE!
GOOD, BUT PHOTOGRAPHER A LITTLE OFF CENTER :) - WE GAVE HER A BREAK, SHE WAS TRYING TO KEEP 4 BABIES HAPPY!

Best Buds!
Kinley and Kirby are great friends, I was in the playroom and came back through the living room to find these sweet friends! Everyone knows I wasn't "thrilled" to get a puppy, I will truly admit, Kirby has been wonderful and it is so much fun to see Kinley interact with him!

Kinley's New Tricks...
We don't have new pictures today for Kinley's blog, but we have some "milestones" that have happened in the past few weeks that we want to note to look back on later!
Some of Kinley's new tricks!
1. Momma, "How old is Kinley Lynn?" Kinley, "unnnnn" (while waving her pointer finger in the air and then clapping for herself!) - we love this. She even told the ultrasound tech yesterday at Jaxon's ultrasound!
2. She always has to wave "night night" to everyone around when she wants to go to bed, this is our "tell tell" sign she is ready to take a nap or go down for the night.
3. She knows where her nose, hair, and mouth are, she still sometimes doesn't get her eyes and her ears, we'll have to work on that.
4. We sing to her and if we stop and say, "Kinley sing," she jumps right in with, "la ta, dada, la, lo, ma" to whatever tune she makes up at the time.
5. She dances when ever the word dance is mentioned.
6. She understand and responds when we tell her to do things like get her milk, go play with Kirby, get in your seat, blow kisses, etc...
7. When Momma tells her Daddy is home, she runs to the front door to wait, YELLING, "Dad, Dad, Dad!" - Daddy loves this!
8. She brings us diapers and even took her pj pants off and gave them to me last week when she needed a diaper change... is it time to potty train??? :)
9. She can't stand to get in trouble, so if she starts to touch something she shouldn't and we say, "KINLEY," in a stern voice, she holds both her ears and turns the other direction... this is hillarious!
10. She mimics words like, dog, duck, milk, etc... and tries to mimic somethings that don't sound remotely right, but hey, at least she is trying! :)
We keep thinking, "This is the best stage!" then she gets a little older and is even more fun! We love that she is growing up and acting like a little girl and not just a baby anymore!
PS - Kinley had her one year check up last week. The doctor was very impressed with her motor skills, said she was at the level of a 18-24 month old, he said her verbal skills were normal for a 12 month old, and could not believe how much she eats (have we mentioned our child eats 3 pieces of pizza for supper) - yes... she is a piggy! He said she will slow down soon! Her weight was 22 lbs 11 oz (49th percentile) and her height is 30 1/2 inches (74th percentile). Overall she is doing great and we are so proud or our perfect little one year old!

So Sweet!
We had to post this picture, isn't she so sweet?!? She fell asleep in the car on the way home from church with her arm propped up like a big girl! We thought it was so cute we had to take a quick pic!
PS- Notice the tiny bow on top of her head, this is the 1st day she has worn the bow without a headband and actually kept it in! The bow is teeny tiny, because she still on has a teeny tiny amount of hair! Someday (hopefully) she will grow some hair!!! :)

Trunk or Treat!
Halloween night Kinley had her 1st trick-or-treating experience in our church parking lot at the trunk or treat party. (Last year she was only one week old at Halloween). The kids got to paint pumkins, blow bubbles, eat hotdogs and cookies and then walk around the parking lot getting candy from all of the people sitting at the back of their cars sponsoring the event. The evening was fun and something that Kinley was able to do rather than get her to walk up to houses in a neighborhood (which would have taken a very long time considering her attention span and lack of direction with her aimless walking around)! :)

Carving a Pumkin...
Carving a pumpkin is very SERIOUS business, no smiles and not even sure if it is fun. Kinley really didn't understand why we were letting her sit on the countertop, or why we were encouraging her to smash her hands in yucky pumpkin seeds. The finished product wasn't even that exciting either, Momma was not the best carver and we think Kinley was disappointed we ruined the little pumpkin she has loved for the past two weeks. Oh well, maybe next year it will be a better experience!
