The Oakley Weekend!!!
Over the weekend Jessica's entire family came down to Houston to see us!! Kinley was excited and so were her parents!! Who wouldn't be excited for crazy people to come 10 hours to change diapers and lose sleep trying to keep Kinley content? We are very thankful for them coming and it was sad to see them go. Coming Home!!!
Kinley is now home and resting peacefully. She has now met Kirby and they are great buddies. Here are a few pictures from today.
Kinley's 1st Full Night
What a night, Kinley decided she did not like her parents to sleep so she kept us up. I think she was obeying Grandpa Coleman's wishes by paying us back for all the trouble that I had given him:) Kinley visited the nursery at the hospital for a few hours so that Mom and Dad could get a little sleep.

Kinley's Visitors On Her First Day

She's Here!!!
McKinley Lynn Coleman has finally arrived. She arrived at 2:20 on October 24, 2007. She weighed in at 8 pounds 11 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. Momma Coleman was a soldier throughout the process, proving me wrong that she could deliver the baby without an epidural so Jess here is my apology, I'm very sorry:)
Kinley thanks Grandma and Grandpa Coleman, GGma, Grandma Oakley, Rachel Alarid and Amanda Worley for helping with the delivery. Kinley is doing well now, she just finished her first feeding and took her 1st bath.

No New News
Jess has taken a little medicine in hopes of dialating a little faster. She is resting in between contractions right now and is doing a great job but baby Kinley is being a little stubborn. We will not know what she is dialated to for another hour or two. My guess is that Kinley will not be here until sometime tomorrow morning.
Still Waiting......
It's currently 6:15 and Jess is still fighting those contractions. She is really tough, she has gone through these since the water broke at 12:45 and has not taken an epidural yet. She is dialated to 3 cm so that is good, 4cm - 8cm should take about a hour for each cm so we still have a while in the hospital. I will update with new information as new things happen!!!
It's Go Time!!!
We are currently at the hospital and Jess has been hooked up to the IVs. She is having contractions every few minutes. Here is Jess in the bed and preparing for the birth. It looks like she has her game face on.
