2 Year Check Up!

Yesterday Kinley had her 2 year check up. Other than having some seasonal allergies and eczema (sp?) she checked out great! The doctor was impressed by the fact she is and has been completely potty trained and is still "impressed" by her eating habits and sure did ask if we had any "obesity or overeating in our family"! Didn't know if Momma should take offense to that - hehehehee! She weighed in at exactly 30 lbs (74%) and was 35 1/2 inches tall (80%). We are so proud of our big girl and all of the joy she brings!

Car Rides with Kinley!

This Holiday Season we will be doing alot of traveling to see family and friends out of town. The 1st mention last week of packing to go to Tyler and Kansas about 10 minutes later Momma walked pasted the front door and found this...



Guess she was scared that Momma might forget to pack one of her "babies"!

We thought it would also be fun to mention Kinley's car ride quotes.

#1 "Momma, look, TRAIN" - as a truck pulling a 5th wheel camper passed.
#2 "Go, Green Turn" - translations, "Momma, go, the light turned green."
#3 "JAXON SLEEP" (Jaxon starts to cry after the yelling from Kinley about him sleeping) "Jaxon wake, not sleeping more" - with a confused look on her face.
#4 "Kinley see, Gma Kerwwy, Gma Oakeeey, Bett (Uncle Brett), Kada (Aunt Kayla), Banton (Branton)" - you all get the idea, she proceeds to name everyone, including the dogs she will see this week!

Overall she is a great traveler and loves going to visit all of her family and spending time away from home!

A Visit From Ms. Pam!

This afternoon our friend, Ms. Pam stopped by to visit Kinley and bring her a birthday present because she was out of town on Kinley's birthday. Kinley LOVES her fairy princess outfit and Ms. Pam! Thank you Pam!

Having a Girl...

Momma just wanted to take a minute to say how happy I am to have my little miss priss! I love that she is old enough to interact with me and I truly love our day to day mommy-daughter moments! Here are just a few:

I love her asking me to sit on the counter to help me "cook" at dinner time.

I love her having to feed every single one of her baby dolls, have me burp them and then putting them to bed.

I love that she wants to wear a pony-tail, just because I'm wearing one.

I love that she is so eagger to give me her opinon about the shirt or shoes I should wear each day!

I know there are a million more "tiny" things to remember and note about loving this little miss, but these are a few I'm thankful for today!

Whatta Ya Mean, He Doesn't Like This???

As Kinley and Jaxon are getting older Kinley sometimes gets mad at Jaxon getting into her stuff, but other times she LOVES to "include" him in her play!

Gma and Gpa Coleman Come to Town...

Last weekend Gma and Gpa Coleman came to town to help our family with our minivan shopping! Gma was the #1 Babysitter while Gpa went and looked at vans with Momma and Daddy. We didn't make a purchase over the weekend, but Ms. Amanda and Mr. Jeremy kept Kinley on Monday night so we could shop again an we came home with the 2008 Toyota Sienna pictured below. It was sad to trade in the Honda Van we brought both of our babies home in, but we LOVE the new van and are excited to have it for all our holiday travel! Big Thanks to Gma and Gpa Coleman and the Worley's for the much needed help!

A Visit from Ms. Kay!

Ms. Kay is one of Kinley's favorite people! Last night she came over for dinner and "play time" before bed. Momma put Jaxon to bed and came back to Kinley and Ms. Kay "trading" glasses! :)
