Kinley's Trip

Kinley had a great time visiting Gma and Gpa Coleman while Grandpa-pa and Grandma-ma were in town last week! Although Momma and Daddy missed Kinley soooooo much, she was having so much fun she didn't seem to miss us at all.

We know she did miss us some after she realized we had been "missing" for a few days, because the the reunion on Friday was very sweet! She was sitting with Grandpa when we came in the door, realized it was Momma and Daddy coming in, sat very still until we got right up close to her and then jumped out of Grandpa's arms to Momma. She looked at Momma's face and then just held on really tight, she really wanted to go to Daddy, but almost was scared to let go of Momma - she didn't make a peep for about 10 minutes. It was socute how she just wanted to hold us, but didn't say a thing!

A big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for keeping her all week! Momma and Daddy had a nice break and we know Kinley had a blast!

Where is Kinley???

Sorry for no new posts lately. Little Miss went to Gma and Gpa Coleman's on Monday to spend some time at thier house while Grandma-ma and Grandpa-pa were in town from Colorado, so we have no recent pics to post. Daddy wonders how much Kinley will have changed in the past few days!

We have talked to Kinley on Skype (internet video) and she looks like she is having a blast! Grandma says she has been being a very good girl!

Momma has had a few crying spells of missing her baby girl, Daddy wondered if one night he was going to have to drive Momma to Tyler to see Kinley. Other than the little bits of loneliness, it has been a great break for Momma and Daddy and Kinley has had a great time on her little Pre-Chirstmas vacation. Mommma and Daddy can't wait to see Kinley tonight! (The day is going by so slowly!!!) We hope she is just as excited to see us!

I can't believe what just happened... I just had to come and blog it really quickly for a memory to look back on...

Momma: Kinley, do you want to get your pants changed and take a night night nap?
Kinley: Eeeeeeeee (RUNS to her bedroom door)
Momma: (Changes K's diaper and decided to change K into comfy clothes for the nap)
Kinley: (Jumps up after the diaper is back on and runs for the crib - we were on the floor)
Momma: Kinley, come back here right now, you have to wear this shirt
Kinley: Uhhhh (smirks)
Momma: Come here now!
Kinley: Uhhh (smiles and smirks agin)
Momma: Kinley, if you don't come here right now then you don't get to take a night night nap...
Kinley: Comes over and gets her shirt on

Don't most parents threaten or punish there kids with no cookies, no toys, or even you are GOING TO TAKE A NAP????

Kinley would think it was more a punishment if she didn't get to go to bed when she wanted to - crazy kid! :)

I'm Free!!!!

Kinley loves to play outside. It was freezing cold this day, but she was THRILLED we let her "free" for a few minutes!

Friday night Daddy played in a fundraising softball game. Kinley loved the event and was such cutie in her fuzzy hat - it isn't that often, way down here, there is a calling for the big winter hat! :)

Thanksgiving in Tyler and Kansas!

We celebrated Thankgiving in Tyler and in Wichita this year. On Tuesday night we traveled to Tyler to visit Gma, Gpa, Uncle Troy, Great Uncle Jim, Great Aunt Jenny, and cousins Molly and Alex. On Thursday we traveled to KS to visit all the Oakley side with dinner at Great Granny's and lots of time with Aunts, Uncles, Gparents, GGparents, cousins, 2nd cousins, etc... Kinley had a great time seeing everyone and is very thankful for the wonderful family she has!
