If there is any question...

If there is any question that Kinley belonged to her daddy (even after the pictures of how much she looks like him), the question could be easily answered by Kinley's love for basketball. We joked about it when she was a couple months old, because of how content she was sitting on his lap, now she truly watches all that is going on when a game is on the tv! She can even be sitting on the floor in the living room and a game will come on, she HAS to watch! It is very cute, she truly is her Daddy's Girl!

Games with Daddy!

This is a new game that Daddy plays with Kinley. He puts is head down near her face, she grabs his hair and he turns his head shaking to "get away" and Kinley laughs like it is the funniest thing she has ever seen! It goes on for ever an ever and it still is SOOOO FUNNY to her!

Sitting Up, not Spitting Up!

So... on Tuesday night Momma was playing with Kinley on her bedroom floor and we were practicing sitting up. Momma let go and Kinley stayed sitting. Of course Momma just thought it would last a couple of seconds like usual so she stayed close, bracing for the "fall" - the "fall" that didn't happen! After waiting about a minute and a half and deciding Kinley might just stay there she yelled for Daddy to bring the camera. These are 2 of the 20 pics we took (hehehehehe). We realize she is using her arms to help brace herself, but just on Sunday she couldn't hold herself up so we are very excited! It is just so neat to see her do new things!

Other news this week - the spit up problem is getting MUCH better and Kinley can now roll both directions (tummy to back and back to tummy) therefore, getting around is no longer a problem!

Yes... it is true! Aunt Kayla and Uncle Brett are going to have a baby! Believe it or not Kinley was at the doctor's office with Momma, Grandma, Aunt Jennifer, GGma when Aunt Kayla found out the great news - a very special experience! (Yes, we have not been allowed to post about it for several days.) We are all so excited for next Christmas where the Oakley family will have 4 babies (Kinley, Brennan, Baby Prindle, and Baby Skiles). Kinley was born in Oct, Jennifer is due in May, Krista in Sept, and Kayla in Nov - things are going to get CRAZY and we can't wait! Congratulations Aunt Kayla and Uncle Brett!

And for the 1st time...

...Kinley doesn't spit up on Ms. Amanda!!! We have an ongoing joke that if Amanda holds Kinley there WILL BE spit up, we think that has held true until today -both Ms. Amanda and Kinley stayed clean for the entire time Kinley was in her arms! "Thanks for always holding me Ms. Amanda, you know you are one of my favorite people!"

And then for the EGG HUNT (courtesy of Ms. Rachel, I mean... the Easter Bunny!) - Taylor helped Kinley get eggs, hold her bunnies, sit up, and most importantly... keep her paci in when needed - Kinley loves Taylor!

After going to Kansas, Kinley headed to Tyler to visit Gma Kerry and Gpa Tom. The Zoo trip was in Tyler, along with the other happenings shown above!

Kinley's first ZOO trip was a great success. She seemed to be most interested in the different bird exhibits and LOVED being outside with Gma and Momma. It was a beautiful day here at the Tyler Zoo!
