Walk This Way...

Kinley's Walking!!!

Up until today Kinley has only attempted to take 1 step and then she sits down. This morning she walked 2 steps to Daddy in her crib. This afternoon she walked 3 and then 4 steps to Momma in the playroom. Tonight she took 6 full steps to Momma (who happened to be holding the toy she wanted...) . Then just now she took 12 steps to Momma. Momma and Daddy are so proud! By all means she isn't just running around wherever she wants, but we decided 6 steps and then 12 steps was news enough to tell! :) Hopefully she will continue and we will have pics and video soon!

Kinley Plays Dolls

Kinley is starting to actually "play dolls". She has two baby dolls, one that Santa brought for Christmas last year and one that Grandma-ma bought her that giggles. Each morning she holds them and talks to them and then brings them to Momma to kiss, then she kisses them and holds them up to her face. The other night she brought one for Daddy to hold, while she hugged the other. It is too cute! Momma can't wait to know what she names them, right now their names seem to be, ahhhhh and ehhhhh (in a high pitch...). :)

I'm FAST, but I still can't go on my own...

Kinley is still cruising around with her push toy and she is getting really fast. She finds the push toy, pulls it out from wherever it is and then practically runs around the house. Sometimes she gets stuck under a table or something and then lets us know about it, but she is now thinkin she is pretty big stuff. Momma is wondering what is taking her so long to walk on her own. She has been able to walk with a toy for 2 months, but as of now has only taken one step on her own, without holding on to anything. Let's also mention, she wants Momma and Daddy to hold her hand and lead her around the house - talk about broken back... hopefully she will get to moving on her own soon!

Tuesday we had another great playdate. This one was at Harry's house. We haven't posted playdate pics in awhile, look at how much everyone has grown. Harry and Anna are both as big (or bigger) than Kinley now and everyone is able to sit up and play! They all love to spend time together!

Gma Kerry and Uncle Troy came to visit for 4 days before Uncle Troy had to go back to college. Kinley had fun listening to music with Uncle Troy and staying up late with Gma Kerry.

Schlitterbahn!

We had an amazing family outting to Schlitterbahn in Galveston on Thursday with the Alarids. Kinley and Taylor had a ball and were WONDERFUL all day (until Kinley's crying fit in the car ride on the way home, no naps with a 9 month old is a little scary...). Kinley loved resting on her daddy on the Lazy River and Taylor loved the Pirate Ship and slides. We think we will have to make Schitterbahn a yearly event!

3 Babies and a Stroller....

And now to try out Ms. Nikki's double stroller. It seems to work best with 3 babies, rather than two!

And this is what happens when you climb in a tub...

What harm could a plastic tub do??? Kinley was having fun with her "at home" gym, when all of the sudden... "Thud" Where did she go? Now the next question... how would she get herself out...

On the way home from the lake we stopped in Tyler for a visit. Momma didn't have many pictures to post, but Kinley had a great visit, including her 2nd trip to Canton, and lots of swimming in the pool!
