What kind of parents are we???

I guess Jace is not Kinley's only teacher... this afternoon Momma and Daddy taught Kinley to stick out her tongue. Yes, that is right, BOTH Momma and Daddy were giving lessons and watching Kinley play our little game. We would stick out are tongue, wait for her to stick out her's, and then we would cheer and laugh! And then we would proceed to start the whole thing again. Needless to say, she is a very quick learner! Maybe we should stick with giving kisses, saying Momma, or Daddy, or even smiling at the camera!

Kinley Plays with Jace!

Monday night before the softball game several friend came over to eat dinner and play. Kinley and Jace had a blast playing on the living room floor. Jace, being 6 weeks older than Kinley has been a great help teaching Kinley to do things. After watching him sit up by himself at Bible class, Kinley started sitting up. She watching him lift and play with toys and is anxious to try herself. Monday after Jace lifted the play gym and up tossed it over, Kinley decided she would show everyone how strong she was and also has continued this practice of throwing the play gym! Alright Jace, this is your warning... You better be on your best behavior - hehehhehehe!

"Sit Sadie"

Amanda and Jeremy's dog Sadie is always really sweet, but when she started to get a little wild on Friday night Amanda yelled, "Sit Sadie!" The dog ran right over to Kinley and plopped herself down between her knees, just like someone had placed her there. It was sooooo funny!


Kinley was quite shocked when Sadie first sat down.


Then she decided to show Sadie her Karate moves...


When that didn't scare Sadie off, she decided to give the puppy a great big kiss!

Rock Band!

Friday night Kinley and Momma hung out with Ms. Amanda and her mom, aunt, and sister for Haley's sotball game, pizza, and a little "Rock Band" on the PS3. Kinley really tried hard to get Ms. Amanda to give her the drumstick!

Growing Up Too Fast!

Kinley is growing up. From playing with the "big kids" and insisting she can hold her own bottle to now getting on all fours to "rock" - we are excited and scared crawling will be here before we know it. She is more fun everyday with the little new and surprising happenings!

Kinley's Cousin - KATE LYNN!

Aunt Krista and Uncle Justin found out yesterday that they are having a baby girl. Momma's prediction was 100% wrong! Kinley is so excited to have baby KATE LYNN to play dolls with when she arrives in September!

Happy Birthday Grandma Kerry, Grandma Oakley and Grandpa Tom!

Yes, three of Kinley's grandparents have the same "birthweek"! We celebrated Grandma Kerry's and Grandpa Tom's last week and today we are in Wichita so we are celebrating with Grandma Oakley.

Brennan is Here!

Brennan was born Saturday evening and weighs 5 lbs, 9 oz and is 18 1/2 in long. Kinley is very excited to have a cousin, but probably won't get to see him in person until we come back in May. She likes looking at his pictures. Brennan, Aunt Jennifer, and Uncle Cole are doing great today, but of course we need to keep praying for Brennan to keep growing strong and Aunt Jennifer to keep healing.

We are so happy to be visiting in Wichita! Love to everyone from Kinley!

Daddy's Birthday

Kinley wore her pink, Michigan outfit to celebrate Daddy's birthday. I'm not sure who enjoyed his present more, Daddy or Kinley (or maybe even Kirby).

Now... Grandpa Tom says he is innocent and that it was just an accident, but... we all know better cause he always tells Momma to "get that silly bow off her head!" He says it just happened to "fall" off her head on the walk... :)

This weekend we went to Austin (Uncle Troy goes to school at UT) to celebrate Gma Kerry, Gpa Tom, and Daddy's Birthday. We had fun staying at a nice condo, eating out, shopping, walking at Barton Springs, eating cake and watching everyone open birthday presents. It was a great visit and fun for Uncle Troy to get to see Kinley again!
