Kinley: Ok, If ya happy and ya know it say Amen... Daddy sing???

Momma: Kinley, come on, help me make a list of what you need to take to Gma's
Kinley: K, how bout Baby Emily (her doll)
Momma: Good idea, I'll put that down and clothes, sippy cups, stroller...
Kinley: AND TOYS!!!
Momma: Ok, and a few toys, anything else???
Kinley: Umm, oh yea, how bout Jaxon???

Guess we should be happy that she wants to take her little bro along! Or maybe we should be concerned that she thinks that he might be something Momma would forget so he needs to be written down...

Kinley Spells Her Name!

This week Kinley learned to spell her name. We have worked on it 2 or 3 different times, but now she truly has it down! Yesterday she had a complete meltdown because she truly was trying to do all the letters and kept messing up and was getting SOOOOO mad at herself. This morning we ask her about it again and she didn't even want to try. Momma told her she could have a cookie if she did it, she just said no and ran off. About an hour later she came up to Daddy (while he was standing by the cookies) and yelled out, "KIN LEY"! He looked at her and said, "What?" And she said, "Kinley wants a cookie, KIN LEY!" Of course she got her cookie and now has been running around the house all morning spelling her name.

Cookies for spelling her name, candy when she was learning to go potty, marshmallows for not crying when she goes to bed, next week we might have to offer her a car to get her to be nice to her brother!

Stinky Make-up...

On Sat morning I was in Jaxon's room when I smelt a familar smell, but couldn't put my finger on it. The kids were happily playing in the playroom and Ryan was watching a ball game in the living room when all the sudden I realized the smell - DESITIN (diaper rash cream) - I knew I hadn't had the tube out that morning - UT OHHHHHHHH! Sure enough, jumped up to find Kinley putting "make-up" on Jax!

Like Father, Like Daughter...

Most of you know, about a month ago Kinley's Daddy injured his shoulder in a fundraising softball tournament for KCHS, for about 3 weeks he constantly told Kinley's Momma how he couldn't do things because his "arm hurt" - Can you imagine who's arm is hurting this week?

Momma - Kinley can you hand me Jaxon's blanket?

Kinley - No Kinley's arm hurt...

(This is just one example conversation, I have been hearing it all week!)

Like father like daughter, guess Momma's gonna have to do all the work around here!

Kinley Paints!

Kinley has found a new favorite hobby, this girl loves to color, but now "art" has a whole new meaning! We let Kinley use paints for the 1st time last week and she LOVED it!!!

Thanks to the Bartkowiaks for hosting a great FAMILY New Year's Eve Party! We can't say that we partied til midnight, but the kiddos did make it til 10:30 and we had a fabulous time!

The Play Room Has a New Look!
