This week Kinley learned to spell her name. We have worked on it 2 or 3 different times, but now she truly has it down! Yesterday she had a complete meltdown because she truly was trying to do all the letters and kept messing up and was getting SOOOOO mad at herself. This morning we ask her about it again and she didn't even want to try. Momma told her she could have a cookie if she did it, she just said no and ran off. About an hour later she came up to Daddy (while he was standing by the cookies) and yelled out, "KIN LEY"! He looked at her and said, "What?" And she said, "Kinley wants a cookie, KIN LEY!" Of course she got her cookie and now has been running around the house all morning spelling her name.
Cookies for spelling her name, candy when she was learning to go potty, marshmallows for not crying when she goes to bed, next week we might have to offer her a car to get her to be nice to her brother!

I'm impressed, Kinley!! Sophie's a little vain, she thinks all letters spell Sophie. =O)
Great Job! It was very plain when she spelled her name for me on the phone, too.
Very clear. There will be no misspelling her name now. Just ask her Bible class teachers. :)
