Kinley's 1st Library Visit!

Last Thursday Kinley went to the Public Library for her 1st visit. She got her own card (that she is very proud of) and checked out 5 books to take with her on the airplane to Hawaii! I should also note she picked 3 for her and 2 for Jaxon (so sweet). These are pics of Kinley and her friends that day! Hopefully we will be able to go more and stay for story time as summer winds down and we get back to a normal routine.

Cousin Visit 2010!

Notice the title of the post - Cousin Visit 2010! Meaning that Kinley and Momma have decided this should be ATLEAST an annual event! Two weeks ago, Gma Oakley, Aunt Jenn, Aunt Kayla, Aunt Shelly, Brennan, Branton, Rachel and Tegan drive down and stayed 4 days! Kinley (and Momma) had a great time playing and hanging out with the cousins. The only sad part of the trip is the fact that Aunt Krista and Kate couldn't make it this trip (I guess they probably didn't want to have to ride on the baggage rack on top of Aunt Jenn's van anyway), but we are insisting they make it next time or get to come soon on their own! Just so everyone knows Kinley was very sad that Kate missed the trip and even cried when she heard she wasn't coming - I LOVE that the cousins love each other so much! Back to the great parts of the trip! We shopped (of course, Aunt Kayla was here), we ate (have you seen these piggy kids) we played (serious playing, parachute, swimming, swinging, toyroom), and somehow got 6 babies 4 mommies, 1 grandma, and 1 very patient daddy/uncle all places to sleep - WHEW! It was such fun and we are so happy you all could come!

She's a Firecracker!

Yes, you all know SHE'S A FIRECRACKER so why wouldn't she LOVE the 4th of July??? Tonight Kinley was exposed to firecrackers for the 1st time. We've seen fireworks in the sky, but this was Kinley's 1st hands on experience and she loved it! Enjoy the pics and then read Kinley's "funnies" from today at the end of the post!

Kinley: Daddy said I not have any firecrackers.
Momma: We'll go and talk to him about it in awhile (I already knew he was ok with it)
Kinley: But I'm hungery now, I want to eat some fire CRACKERS now!!!

WOCC FAMILY CAMP 2010!

Last weekend we attended Woodland Oaks 4th Annual Family Camp. This year, again, we had over 100 campers, an amazing turnout for year 4. The theme was "Come and Get It" - a play on words between "come out and get family camp" and this years study book How to Get What You Want and Want What You Get by Willard Tate. We are thankful to have this opportunity with our Church family - the weekend couldn't have been better! (Ok, so maybe it could have been better if it were like 20 degrees cooler!) :)
