Lake House Fun!

Momma's a little late with this post but we have to post some of the pics from our mini-vacation for Mr. Eric's Birthday a couple of weeks ago! We had a blast with our great friends, the Alarids, at thier family lake house near Austin!


The best of friends and worst of enemies! This pic completely captures the girls personalities and thier LOVE/HATE relationship. We hope they are friends forever and this pic can be used in a wedding slideshow someday as each other's bridesmaid, they are the perfect pair and the closest thing to a sister the other could have. Oh, how Kinley loves (and hates) her Tay Tay! Since I'm on a roll about these two girlies I have to note that Ms. Rachel called me this week and Tay had to tell Ms. Jess something - half way thru telling me she said, "May I talk to Kinley now please?" I handed Kinley the phone and heard the girls telling each other about the clothes they were wearing and making plans to go to each other's houses next week. It was so cute and a fun memory for us mommas to know are baby girls are old enough to take over our phone conversation. Sweet girls!!! (Wow, hope I don't write a book about each photo!)

Slumber Party fun! The girls got to sleep in the same room for the 1st time at the lakehouse this trip. The evening was complete with Momma and Ms. Rachel getting in on Simon Says, Duck-Duck Goose, and a GREAT game of Hide and Seek. Jax was a little disappointed he didn't REALLY get to play! We won't talk much about how it took a LONG time for the girls to go to sleep and that Ms. Mimi even had to get in on the threatening and volunteered to sleep in the same room as these two drama queens to keep them out of trouble...

Thanks to the Alarids for a great getaway and happy belated birthday to Mr. Eric!
