Teaching Manners (to the dog)...

Today while Kinley was eating breakfast Momma and Daddy were both in the living room so we could hear her, but we were not "watching" her eat. She talks to herself alot these days so we didn't think much of her many words strung together until we heard this... "Hirby, (pause) Yep, thank you Hirby, (pause)Welcome Hirby!!!" Kinley had decided Kirby (the dog) should have a lesson in manners. If she called him and threw food for him (she is not allowed to do this, and knows it) he should say thank you and then she would tell him he was welcome. Maybe not as funny to our readers as to us, but we both got a good laugh and then Kinley got in trouble for feeding the dog (again...)!
